THE TRUE AND PURE FOUNDATION:

Serving GOD through kindness to humanity

The True and Pure Religion Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that provides support to orphans, widows and the poor.

A society is only as strong as its weakest, and the true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable.

Unfortunately, we live in a world that gives very little attention to individuals who have either lost a parent or spouse. They are left to wallow in poverty without any type of medical, emotional, social, material, or school-related assistance.

According to the United Nations, there are an estimated 258 million widows around the world, and nearly one in ten lives in extreme poverty. UNICEF also estimates that 153 million children worldwide are orphans. Considering these staggering statistics, there is a need to swing swiftly into action.

Any form of injustice and neglect that widows and orphans suffer is as good as a disservice to God. Through his teachings, Jesus makes us understand that for every time we fail to clothe, feed and care for the vulnerable ones in society, “you have done it unto Him.”

As a faith-driven organization, we take this charge very seriously and take conscious efforts to educate, build capacity and cater to the social welfare of the vulnerable – orphans and widows – in society. True and Pure Religion Foundation exists to create a world where orphans and widows can have a fair shot at life by giving them access to basic rights

OUR MISSION

This foundation is driven by biblical principles. Our vision is driven by the understanding that “pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble” (James 1:27), recognizing that according to Matthew 25:40, our service to the poor is service to God

OUR VISION

Providing hope for a better tomorrow for orphans, widows, and poor families.

Why You Should Care

“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”

– Matthew 25:40

God cares for you and expects that the same care should be shown to the weak and vulnerable in society. Apart from being a divine instruction, our service to humanity adds meaning and fulfilment to life.
